Nestled close to the actual Victoria Falls along the mighty Zambezi River banks just 8 minutes drive from Livingstone City or the Zimbabwe & Zambia border gate. This hotel has the perfect setting to make a memorable holiday stay for your group or family. The staff was great, from the check-in process to getting settled in the rooms. Mosquito nets are standard & the staff will spray the rooms before sunset. The continental breakfast was great with beef cold meats as options for us who don't eat pork. They food menu is reasonably priced for such a prime location hotel. We extended our 2 nights stay to 4 nights in total because the place is beautiful. They own a boat, so the Zambezi River Sunset cruise is an in-house experience paid for at reception.

The authentic African features to decor . Being right on the Zambezi River .The pool was beautiful overlooking the river . Very Natural design blending with the landscape , the staff were exceptional and devoted their attention to your every need . Rooms were amazing . To have a tour organisers on hand to arrange all your activities was the best . Food was amazing with great dining options . Victoria Falls , Chobe National Park, river safari’s and a cruise on the Lady Livingston where some of the activities we did but also had time to just relax and enjoy. Put the David Livingston Safari Lodge on your place to stay for you bucket list .

Wow, what an amazing lodge! We arrived early and Wendy at Reception didn’t even blink and assisted with an early check-in while we went on our rhino walking activity.. Had beautiful connecting rooms that looked out over the river. Unlike on the Zimbabwean side, food was quoted in the local currency and very affordable for SADC members. Was also less expensive to visit the falls on the Zambian side. Loved it (and the cocktail of the day every day). Restaurant next door had lovely pizzas. Booked it as a last minute deal with 55% discount.

From the point of arrival to my departure the staff were extremely helpful and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. The facilities in the room and the hotel lived up to my expectations. There was a great range of food items from the self service buffet breakfast, fresh fruit, cereals, various breads, cheeses, ham, hot dishes with eggs & omelettes cooked in front of you as you waited, this is great if you have a large appetite or wish to take your time over breakfast whilst enjoying the view over the Zambezi river.

Colin

Breakfast was well presented with plenty of choice. Eggs were freshly cooked to order. There were two restaurants for dinner both overlooking the river with wonderful views of the sunset. The bedroom and en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower were spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable - they really went that extra mile to make us feel at home.
